Returning Users Help

Email Address Help

Returning users that register a new email address: Your students will be continuing students as long as their first names, last names, and dates of birth entered in the application match the information in the system from the prior year.

  • If your email address has changed, you may sign on using the old email address and password and change it. If you cannot complete this process to change the email address, you should register a new email address by clicking the Register button on the sign in page.
  • If you forget the old email address, you should register a new email address by clicking the Register button on the sign in page.
  • If you have multiple email accounts, be sure you are using the correct email address.
  • Do not register multiple email addresses or submit duplicate applications for the same student. Doing so can result in problems processing your application.

Password Help

  • If you forgot your password, click on the blue "Forgot Your Password?" link under Returning Users. Your password will be emailed to you. The email will have a subject "Private School Choice Programs Information You Requested", and the password will be in the first line of the email in bold font.

New Users Help

Registering a New User Help

If you have not previously used this system, you must create a password and use an email address as your ID.

It is easy to get an email account. There are a number of places that allow you to create a free email account: Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft Outlook are just a few.

Email Verification help

  • Did you complete the verification of your email address? If not,

    • Go to the inbox for your email account.

    • Be sure you are in the most current email from DPI and click the "Confirm Email Address" link in the email to confirm your email address.

    • Once you click the "Confirm Email Address" link in the email, the link will take you to the email verification confirmation page where it notifies you that your email address has been verified.

    • On the email verification confirmation page, click on the link to return to the online parent application log-in page where you will need to enter your email and password to continue.

  • Please note that it may take 5 minutes to 24 hours for the email to arrive. You should check your spam or junk folders for an email from with a subject of "Verify your School Choice Program Email Address".

  • If you need a new verification email sent you may go to the login page for the online parent application and enter your email and password again under Returning Users and a new verification email will be generated.


  • If you are using a mobile device (phone, iPad, etc.), please try using a laptop or desktop computer.
  • Please ensure that the Num Lock and Caps Lock keys on your computer are not on.
  • Please ensure you are not entering extra spaces before or after the email address and/or password.
  • If you are using a computer, consider trying a different web browser.
  • You can also check with the office at the school to see if you can use one of their computers for the application process.
