The Milwaukee Parental Choice Program, which began in the 1990-91 school year, allows students who reside in the city of Milwaukee to attend any participating private school if certain eligibility requirements are met. The private school, on behalf of the student’s parent or guardian, receives a state aid payment for each eligible student.
